Laptops in Every Classroom
Each classroom has a small set of laptops that they have access to at all times. Thanks to our P&C we are able to update these laptops when necessary. The P&C recently funded new laptops in the K-2 classrooms and next year each classroom will be allocated a tablet. Ongoing professional learning will ensure the implementation of technology across all learning areas.
Computer labs
Each class visits the computer labs each week to focus on typing skills, research tasks and online learning. We have two computer labs in the school that each class has access too.
SeeSaw
Some classes have trialled an implementation of SeeSaw this year. Seesaw is a social media platform where teachers can communicate with parents and inform them of the programs being run I n each classroom. It gives the parents an opportunity to see work samples of their child's work in real time and provide conversations at home surrounding current learning.
Interactive Whiteboards
Each class has an interactive whiteboard for teachers to use to enhance and engage their lessons. the whiteboards allow students to access a range of resources to support their learning. The amount of resources the teachers have access online is incredible.
