Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Thirroul Public School sits proudly between the escarpment and the sea, surrounded by a community that values learning, care and connection. Our teachers work together to design learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and help every student achieve their personal best.

At Thirroul, learning continues well beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to think deeply, act kindly and take pride in their effort and contribution. The RESPECT Wave is at the heart of how we recognise positive choices and celebrate the values that shape our culture of kindness and belonging.

Families and staff share a strong sense of partnership. Our P&C and wider community support opportunities that enrich learning and bring people together.

Thirroul Public School is a place of belonging and purpose, where every learner is supported to grow, contribute and thrive.

Mr Michael Darmody, Principal of Thirroul Public School
